"En octubre del año 2010 se realizó, en la Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú (PUCP), el V Seminario de Reforma del Estado, cuyas ponencias y paneles se estructuraron a partir de dos ejes temáticos: La democracia y sus instituciones en debate y La lucha anticorrupción como política de Estado. Posteriormente, en el año 2011, publicamos la primera parte de ese evento, que trató sobre las instituciones democráticas y su realidad en América Latina y el Perú. En esa primera parte participó el profesor Dieter Nohlen, a quien la Universidad nombró Doctor Honoris Causa. Participaron, además, los alumnos del Doctorado en Ciencias Políticas de la PUCP y se debatieron temas y problemas con el objetivo de hacer que las instituciones democráticas tengan vigencia en nuestro país y la región." |
