Este informe está compuesto por cinco capítulos. En el primero, titulado "Las masacres de Remedios y Segovia 1982-1997", se reconstruyen las cuatro masacres que constituyen los hitos del proceso de violencia contra la izquierda social y política en la región. En el segundo capítulo denominado "Democracia, ideología y guerra", se identifican los factores políticos, ideológicos, institucionales y regionales que se ensamblaron para desencadenar la violencia contra la izquierda social y política en la región. En el capítulo tercero, titulado "Los impactos y los daños", se establecen y describen los daños políticos, sociales y morales causados por el desarrollo de la guerra. En el cuarto capítulo, denominado "El camino de la justicia y la impunidad", se hace una valoración de las actuaciones judiciales en las distintas masacres, tanto en el ámbito de la justicia penal ordinaria como en la justicia disciplinaria y la justicia penal militar. En el capítulo quinto, "Memoria y política en un contexto de guerra", se identifican las iniciativas y prácticas de memoria respecto a cada una de las masacres, poniendo el énfasis en sus transformaciones en el tiempo y cómo éstas son condicionadas por las posibilidades y las limitaciones que imponen contextos igualmente cambiantes. |
