Hay dos cambios importantes en la cuarta edición de ecuaciones diferenciales y sus aplicaciones. El primero se refiere a los programas de computador en este texto. De acuerdo con las tendencias recientes en informática, hemos reemplazado todos los programas APL con los programas Pascal y C. Los programas Pascal aparecen en el texto en lugar de los programas APL, donde son seguidos por los programas Fortran, mientras que los programas C aparecen en el Apéndice C.
