"Actualmente las empresas que almacenan, distribuyen, manipulan y transportan sustancias químicas, deben brindar condiciones de trabajo adecuadas que mejoren la calidad de vida de los empleados en la seguridad y la salud en el trabajo, promoviendo buenas prácticas para el manejo de productos químicos para los trabajadores, logrando identificar, prevenir y controlar las enfermedades laborales y accidentes de trabajo. La investigación en este proyecto busca diseñar un protocolo de actuación, para conocer las normas básicas a seguir en caso de un accidente producido por sustancias qumicas, mediante la identificación del peligro de dichas sustancias y la interpretación de la información de fichas de datos de seguridad y etiquetas. La industria petroquímica es un sector laboral que implica un riesgo para la salud significativamente alto, teniendo en cuenta su actividad económica. Por lo tanto, se hace necesario contar con las herramientas necesarias que puedan proporcionar información confiable y veraz, sobre cada una de las sustancias químicas con las cuales se trabajen." |
