Cada una de estas mejeres antes del desplazamiento forzado, vivián en territorios ancestrales con sus familias, donde trabajaban solidariamente al interior de su comunidad, poseiáan una cultura propia, compartían una historia y desarrollaban sus tradiciones y costumbres dentro de la relación campo-poblado, lo que les permitía mantener y conservar la conciencia e identidad que caracteriza a este grupo étnico. Hoy, desafortunadamente, muchas de estas afro colombianas y sus familias, han abandonado su territorio natural y se encuentran habitando en los cinturones de miseria de las grandes ciudades del país. Cartagena no escapa a esta realidad. |
